NurturMe baby food sent me some samples for my kids to try. They loved all the flavors, and I found them really different from most conventional baby foods. The food comes in pouches instead of the traditional glass bottles that haven’t changed much since I was a baby. Caroline Freedman noticed the same thing, and it was her inspiration for starting NurturMe.
Caroline and her friend Lauren McCullough teamed up to experiment with food dehydration in an attempt to get away from baby food bottles. After much trial and error NurturMe was born.
As most moms know, dragging around several bottles of baby food in your bag can be trying. The glass bottles are clunky, they bang together in the bag, and you have to drag them home to recycle them. NurturMe baby food takes the bottles out of your bag, and it’s eco -friendly packaging is great for the environment.
Each box contains 8 pouches, and each 2.5 oz package is equal in size to traditional bottle of food. The pouches can be mixed with water, formula, or even breast milk, to give your child the most nutrition possible. My kids love all four flavors: crisp apple, plump peas, scrumptious squash and hearty sweet potato. You can even mix them together for a new variety. The foods are all 100% gluten free and organic.
